Uncover the hidden 

things within

not yet written.

I myself will be smitten

learning to listen 

to the promptings given,

the unfolding of a mission

birthed in my part

of the Great Commission.

I am ready now,

in position,

welcoming this new edition

in the asking of the petition.

It’s never too late

for something great.

When you are willing to wait

it’s much more than fate.

The revelation comes from divine inspiration,

expectation met with exhilaration.

Opening of doors is in the making,

following through with risk-taking.

Arise now, hidden gems,

from whence the gifting stems.

This process I consider a type of cleanse.

This shaking seems intense

as I encounter its suspense.

Stories to be told

more precious than gold—

watch and see 

just how they unfold.

The inspiration for this poem came from an answer to prayer in January of 2019. Matthew 7:7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.“ Everyday God reveals a little bit of His plan for me as I ask, seek, and knock. I would love for you to follow me on this journey and see how it unfolds!
