Pet Heaven

I don’t know for sure if there is such a place,

but I can’t imagine a perfect God full of grace

would ever let our pets leave this earth

without His embrace.

Some things He tells us in His Word,

and some things are left for our faith to be stirred.

I have visited this place in my mind—

an amazing vision, one of a kind.

The fields and hills are a bright emerald green,

the brightest green I’ve ever seen.

The texture is such,

soft like velvet to the touch.

The trees are many, big and strong,

providing shade

where our pets can rest

after they’ve played.

The sun shines bright, projecting bursts of yellow.

The sky is blue, where white clouds billow.

All our pets there are friends,

and the pain level is zero.

The lakes sparkle with fountains like crystal,

where the wind seems to call them with a gentle whistle.

I see my pet, young and free,

running to the top of the hill,

where he stops, turns, and waits for me.

What a glorious day it will be

when we cross over the bridge together.

As far the eyes can see. A voice like many waters we hear, “Welcome home thou good and faithful servants.

Enter now into your rest.”

This is a bad selfie! Lol he went along with all my ideas! Miss my good boy so much! Xoxo
