The Words In Red

The words in red, oh so eloquent,
most today, think not so relevant.
To me, they are extraordinarily excellent.
The words in red, my daily bread.
They are alive, not something dead.
The words in red are words to live by;
they have power to expose a lie.
Circumstances that go awry
can be turned around, so why not try?
The words in red, a comfort and direction—
they may rebuke but for correction,
always pointing toward perfection,
at every turn and intersection.
The words in red, a poignant intervention.
So give the words in red a try.
Go ahead, it’s okay to question.
The words in red will grab your attention.
For me, it was the best suggestion.
The words in red give hope to the hopeless,
meaning and focus, not irrelevant or bogus.
The words in red are good news to spread,
not something to dread,
similar to a needle and thread.
Start sowing,
and be surprised by what you begin knowing.
Soon you will be growing.
The words in red are now flowing
like a river coming forth from the Giver.
The words in red will always deliver.
This poem is my story. For such a time as this.
There is only one source of truth. When chaos abounds, you can trust the one who says “I am the way the truth and the life.“ John14:6
I pray you have eyes to see and ears to hear. What is going on in the world is so much more than a virus. The Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for you with open arms. May the Prince of Peace comfort you in this hour. ❤️

Great gift Denise !
